Oregon-Wine.Net was created as a source of information about the beautiful and plentiful state of Oregon and its wonderful array of Oregon wines, wineries, and vineyards. From Adelsheim Vineyard in the Northern Willamette Valley to the Valley View Winery in Applegate Valley, we hope to provide a little something for everyone who loves Oregon wine, from one who drinks a glass occasionally with dinner, to the ultimate wine connaisseur.

The Umpqua Valley AVA contains the drainage basin of the Umpqua River, excluding mountainous regions.[17] The Umpqua Valley has a warmer climate than the Willamette Valley, but is cooler than the Rogue Valley to the south. Grapes grown here include Pinot Noir, with smaller amounts of Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Riesling, as well as several French-American hybrids. The region includes one sub-AVA, the Red Hill Douglas County, Oregon AVA.
